A 95 kilowatt system with 452 panels, the South Shore project is one of the largest photovoltaic systems on Oahu. Covers the energy needs of 4 businesses, and is powerful enough to make each of them NetZero at peak operating hours- not requiring any energy from the grid.

The energy produced by the photovoltaic panels is monitored by a web-based system that tracks performance in real time. An integrated weather station provides detailed information on wind and cloud conditions over the course of the day.

A commercial lease for a photovoltaic system of this size will pay for itself in about X years, and will have an expected lifespan for the system around 25-30 years.
